Ophthalmic Pathology is the sub-specialty of Ophthalmology and Pathology that focuses on diseases of the eye and its neighbouring tissues.

We at COPE, provide Histopathology & Cytology services where in patients tissues and tumors removed after surgery is examined and the pathology is identified at a tissue level or cellular level, which aids in better patient management.

Being a part of the teaching institute, our students get hands on experience in this branch where they see and learn various pathologies affecting the eye including intraocular and orbital malignancies.
